Users

In this table users can be edited.

Changes can be made through the buttons, a popup menu (right mouse button) and direct modification of a field

You can use the filters to make a selection

Sequence number

If the number is altered the effect is only first seen when the Swing Studio is re-started.

Usercode

Each user must have a unique code. The unique code is used for export and import of user records in Swing Studio

Username

Each user must have a unique username. The username is used to login

Name

The full name of a user can be entered in this field. Only used in Swing Studio for administrative purposes.

Password

In this field a password can be set for the user. A password has the following requirements.

• Is at least 8 characters
• Contains an uppercase letter
• Contains a lowercase letter
• Contains a number
• Contains a symbol
• Is not common (for example. 123456 or qwerty)
• May not contain username

MailAddress

This field can contain an email address for the user. The email address can be used for notifications.

UserGroup

This field contains the usergroup this user is assigned to

End date

This field contains the enddate after which the userlogin is expired and cannot be used anymore.

Web API key

A valid API Key is required for using certain webservices.

Permanent password

The password of this user is permanent and doesn't need to be reset when logging in for the first time.

LockedOut

Users that fill in incorrect passwords 5 times in a short period of time will become locked out. Locked out users can no longer login.
