Map Layer Definitions

On this page you can define map layers. A map layer always consists of the following parts:

• Name
• Type
• Settings

Name

The name of the definition. This name is reflected in the definitions of the map layers and also when switching layers on and off in Swing Viewer.

Type

The layer type is always one of the types below:

• Outlines - A layer with area contours
• Background - A layer with colored areas
• WMTS - a layer for web map tile services
• WMS - a layer for web map services

Settings

Here the formatting settings for this layer can be set.
